Might be just me, but daily updates of tweets/delicious/etc was always a pet peeve for me. I typically prefer having either a widget or a link for them instead.
This is completely unrelated to your post, but since I am moving to BC I had a couple questions. Do you rent or own your home? If you're renting or have rented in the past, how is the rental market in BC? What would be the average price of a bachelor and 1 bedroom? Do you find that there is more demand than supply for apartments? I've been looking at the average price for a 1 bedroom looks like $900 and it also doesn't look like there are many places for rent. My biggest concern however is that the vast majority of rentals restrict pets and I have a cat that is my furry child. I looked into BC's residential tenancies statute and landlords are allowed the restrict pets completely and restrict number and size of pets, as well as charge a pet damage deposit. This is vastly different from Ontario's statute which holds that any rental agreement with a clause restricting pets is a void clause and all tenants are entitled to pet ownership regardless of signing agreement to the contrary. Do you know of any pet friendly buildings/apartments? I am looking to move into a place in the fall, staying with my parents over the summer to save money and pay off student loans and credit debt.
