Friends

Aren't friends some of the most important things in life?

"Mmm, I get by with a help from my friends, I get high with a help from my friends, gonna try with a little help from my friends": Hmm, so we get high on friendship? I can live with that idea, as for the most part, we are feeling at our best with groups of good friends, and they help us out when we're down, and they help us try when something isn't right.

"I need somebody to love", "I want somebody to love":
Oh yes, this is so true, i have recently been looking into how humans percieve physical contact (look up the "nonverbal dictionary"), and just holding hands and touching somebody's skin is important.

UGH!

One of my classes, TECH150 Introduction to Computer Systems was designed for total computer idiots, who know nothing about anything at all! And since TechBC doesn't yet have a challege program up and running, I can't escape! Noooooo....

Seriously, everybody in the school knows what they are doing when it comes to computers already, so besides teaching us the history of comptuters, this course is utterly worthless.

The current thing is working on some stupid Excel stuff:
You have experimented with MS Excel 97. Using the sample file MS1.xls:
a. Create a chart that plots marketing costs against time.
b. Create a chart that plots both profits and marketing costs against time. What problems are there in doing this?

Problems = If the user is an idiot, he will choose a graph that will cause the smaller set of data to disappear becuase it will be lower than the scale for the large data set. But that will be entirely his own fault, for which he will complain anyway. because (l)users are generally STUPID!

Why can't we just get to the decent stuff, I've written hardware level code before, where I don't need to deal with the stupid user directly, just other intelligent programmers.

War?

I'm just thinking, what are the possible effects of the United States declaring war?

They have already annouced that they are activating some of the reserves. I'm not sure what fraction of the available total reserve they have called up, but when they start to run out, they might be drafting again.
