Well no, 'cause you can just have a really cool plastic box with LEDs on your wall to intimidate crooks with. And we both know how terribly worse crime is in BC then say, some out-of-the-way country like ZA.

However, if any crook calls your bluff, you're screwed. But I guess thier point is you'd be screwed w/o the blinky box anyway.
