Feb. 20th, 2002 07:38 pmI got up around 10.30am this morning. Feeling not wonderful. I think I'm coming down with the flu more definetly. I helped my mother with her crossword, filled a letter to complete the name of a tie and an indian tribe (BOLO and OLMECA). Since then, I've been working on my homework. The business assignment was the main thing, and I got that about 90 minutes ago, and now I've just finished the math work. I still need to do the art homework for tommorow, and I must prepare for a meeting with the manager of ET&L at TechBC and his senior sysadmin tommorow.
On that last bit, to stop me having to search for it, could somebody provide me with a javascript oneliner to open a new window with a given URL? I don't care about the dimensions of the window or anything, I just need it to load up a page automatically, but if the window is hidden, it would be better. Also, could I have the JS to check that the page is finished loading, and then close that window? Thanks in advance.
There is something more complex with JavaScript I would like, but it can wait. I want a bit of JS that can parse the contents of an existing frame and extract a set of URLs from it, that match a certain pattern.
I'm going to grab something to drink, and then make a start on the art work. If anybody has a good site with lots of pictures of city streets from various angles, please point me to it.
