i'm in my stats workshop now. vadim, the instructor, is a hoot! to explain 2D probability distribs, esp. the calculus involved, he spread butter thickly on bread with a big knife. he then did math ops with the knife. later, when he got us to solve some probs on the board, he made a sandwich.
