I'm eating my lunch now. Beef teriyaki, with a bottle of Dasani water. I put together the new CounterStrike server for the TekNights club. It is named 'sloth' now, as it is the slowest of the systems that TekNights have. K6-III/500mhz with 512mb RAM. But only 1gb hdd. It needs more space I think.

Computer hardware

I picked up some nice computer hardware today. After I put together the new machine for TeKnights, I had some spare parts left over.

• Voodoo1/2 (exact unknown)
• M571 Motherboard (TX-ProII chipset)
• AMD K6 233mhz CPU
• 2x SDRAM (unknown size)

I'll test out the stuff on the weekend if I get some time.

Previously, I was going to put my new Athlon system in my room upstairs, but now plans have changed. I will get a desk in the spare room downstairs, with the eventual goal of me moving down there instead of being upstairs. It's partly to make for easier ethernet wiring, and partly so that my parents do not hear my nice sound system that I am going to buy.

A bit of news from earlier that I didn't post. Tara starsandgarters sent me a postcard from the UK. It's shaped as Prince Charle's head! Thanks Tara! I hope you are having a blast in Europe.

Makes me think. When I am done with school, and I have money. I want to go around Europe some. I want to see the Love Parade in Berlin!
