I didn't get the contract to develop the web application. Another group undercut me by half. Good for them I say, it's a cut-throat industry, and may the best man win. They certainly outdo me when it comes to graphical talent. They are Circle web developer group, go and check out their web portfolio, it's really impressive.

So I guess that means I'll shelve my plans for more computer parts for now. I guess this is better that way, as if I had go the contact, it would have been 12 hour work days nearly every day until the handover date. Now I have more free time to relax, and unwind from TechBC.

I've been busy tidying up my computer room now, I had no idea that I had actually got so much stuff.

• 8 Socket 7 and 486 motherboards (incl. some CPU's)
• 9 system cases, mostly mini-towers with AT power supplies
• 2 dead monitors
• lots of ISA network cards, plus a few PCI ones
• a few PCI graphics cards
• loads of other stuff

Hmm, just thinking about money, I am owed some other money for doing other web development work still, and that should turn up in a few weeks.
