I did my christmas shopping this morning. Spent about $95 to get presents for 6 people. I get to Metrotown as my mother says they are opening at 9am now, but it turns out they only open at 10am! So I went to Superstore which was the only place open, and got some of the gifts, then went to NCIX to get the dud RAM replaced.

Why do I have dud RAM you ask?

I bought a new computer on Saturday.
Specs:
Athlon T-Bird 1.4Ghz (FSB266)
Volcano 6 copper base fan
Asus A7A266 MB
Forsa Geforce2 MX200 64mb
Landmark 24" case
LiteOn 24x10x40 CD-Writer
SoundBlaster Live! DE 5.1
3Com 10/100 Network card
2x Micron 256MB DDR RAM

but one of the pieces of ram was a dud, so I took it back and got it replaced.

I wanted to get just one 512MB piece of DDR, but those were out of stock.

I wrote up a quote to develop some software for a company. It's going to be quite a bit of work (December 28th handover), but I think I will be able to handle it. The money I get from it will go to pay my fees for next semester, plus get me more computer stuff (after I pay off this computer).

I would like to get:
DVD Drive
at least 1GB of ram total.
USB Scanner
Digital Camera
2x 100GB HDD (or larger :-)
6 piece speaker set
