I don't blame you about not liking Surrey...it does have an um what's the word here- weird atmosphere about it...you would have to get used to it, to actually like it. Personally, I never liked Surrey myself, because of the way the streets go one way, and another way- you walk straight down one street and get hopelessly lost! Trust me, I have done it! I don't know about all of the "types" you mentioned, because I haven't really hung around areas of Surrey which had those type of people in it, but then again big cities do have people in those categories- such as Vancouver- they have Hastings area- which is filled with people like that...I don't know if Burnaby has an area like that, I know hookers and junkies used to hang outfront the old apartments I lived in (Hillside Gardens), so....New West has a couple of places where you can see again those types of people...So their not all restricted to just Surrey...
