(no subject)

My computer remains totally stable, and after sleeping in this morning, I'm cleaning up my stuff downstairs and migrating all my data from my old system to my new system. I have a _lot_ of email that I have collected over the years. My ICQ database is also huge. 74MiB to be exact. The reason that it is large is quite simple. I have kept my ICQ database going for 4 years without losing any of it.

I will put my webcam onto my new system soon, and then you can see me working.

Webcams

My personal webcam is going to remain offline until I have written my own application to grab images from it. I'm not asking for anything fancy, just a little image grabber that writes a timestamp to a textfile so I can display it easily.

I have figured out how to do it in Visual Basic, but i'm not happy with the performance that it gives me, so I'll have to look at using TWAIN under C++ myself instead.
