I know I have been lax in updateing my journal recently, so here is a synopsis of my weekend.

I spent my weekend with Marissa in Ladysmith, Vancouver Island. It rocked ;-). I managed to fix an ancient TV and VCR so that I could watch rented videos too.

Thank you very much for a) being such a good friend to Marissa... (This is very much a new experience for her and she seems to be enjoying it tremendously) and b) for fixing those ancient info appliances at my mother's place. Either I or my brother-in-law would have had to replace those items had you not done that.

No problem about the TV/VCR, my fixes were hacks with what tools I had available (screwdrivers, pliers, tape), so they should work for a while, but they need to be done properly.
