Just some more news about the rest of today. I noticed that there were a few flaws in my livejournal, so I fixed them, that includes the private/protected event types and the day view pages (accessed from the calender page).
A lot of things are happening with the SGI Onyx at TechBC now, and it looks like next week is going to be insanely busy for me, so I need to get down and do some homework this weekend as otherwise I just won't make it next week. There is going to be a big demo on Thursday morning, but the system needs to be ready by then.
I am slowly converting people over to linux, I was just sorting out something on Tai's linux system this evening. He is using it to for his graphics course at SFU, and seems to be a good convert to linux so far. From his perspective, it needs a lot of design work still to become user-friendly, but I think he has been using windows a little too much.
